I went to lunch today and clocked back in at 12:45. I go out to break at 2:45 and my car is gone :mad: I work at a credit union and we have cameras all over the place, so the cops took the tape and will get to see someone taking it. First off it's a 98 dodge neon, I don't know anyone who would want to steal a car like that, but second I had barely any gas in it, 2 quarts of oil low, and I was really low on antifreeze. I have full coverage, thank god, but the cops said it could take 2 days to 2 weeks before they might find it. Then once they have the verdict, either they find it or they don't the insurance company said it'll take 30 days after that to cut me a check for it :rolleyes: .

i called on of the local radio stations and the dj put an 'amber' alert out on my car. but it pisses me off cause i have 2 car seats in the back so the person seen i have kids, so why still my car and not someone elses without car seats and that has a nicer car :rolleyes:
well...Credit Unions must be the place to steal cars. Cause when I worked at our credit union about 4 years ago, my car got ganked too! Hope you get that check or your car back!

I talked to a dectective earlier and he said that another neon was stolen a few miles away from where mine was yesterday also. So he pretty much told me don't count on seeing it again and if I do then it'll probaly be gutted out.

it was a piece of shit. the cops were saying that some people are stealing neons and replacing the engine in them and using them for street racing. i think that's the funniest shit i've ever heard :rolleyes:
