hey I just blew my engine & I have the chance to pick up a 02 r1 ... IM a honda man so what can you people tell me about the r1 for stuntN :Yawn: hit me up with as much info as you can ...

When ive rode the r1 when your up in a whee it seems really unstable but my bro rocks an 03 r1 he seems to do well on it as do the streetfighters

Anyone i ever heard of riding an R1 pretty much says that they are whellie prone, so i decided to test the theory. And yes it is true don't know were these people are getting unstable bikes from but Very good stunt bike, I think.

wheelie prone and stunter r two totally different things....... any liter bike is wheelie prone from the power to weight ratio......

I no the guy fro road hazzerds be killN um ... But its not realy my style ..
heres the deal Iv blown this engine in the RR like 4 times now & Im good about keeping oil in it ... I dont have any cash right now (its all tied up in DVD ,Bike, & all the other BMX bullshit... ) so I cant afford a engine .. or I would just do that .. My sponser MRPs owner Kenny has a R1 he doesnt ride that he said he would hook me up with ... I m gonna have to pay for it but hes pretty chill soo hes not too worried about it ..& its only gonna be like three Gs if that ... Basicly its the fastest & simple thing to do...
But am I gonna hate this bitch?
is it gonna brake like glass the first time I drop it ?
How the engine ... are R1s sturdy?
& I cant get it & sell it out of respect... I think well I could ask ...

i have got an 02 and it is great for fast shit.......highway stuff is money on it....I have tried slow wheelies on it a few times and it is doo doo, but that is also with a stock sprocket. I think a dude on here is stunting one from hawaii ....you should ask him

dont have much expiernece with them but i know this, i seen my buddy lose his in a somewhat slow (prolly like 15mph) wheelie and the thing got fucked up pretty bad...it was a 99. also i know the older ones sub frames are welded to the frame so if you fuck it up you cant just buy a new one and bolt it on

ive only ridden one once, but i heard that theier engines blow up. but i dont know for sure, it stick to honda or suzuki personally, but if you get a steal of a deal you might as well, i wouldnt see why not? :fiddy:

I like it for a regular street bike , but that's about it for stuunting ( especially 12's ) it's gaahbage.....

correct. the 02 and up are now bolt on subframes.
ive been stuntin my R1"99" for 3 years and never had a problem with it or stuntin it, i know everyone has there own opinions, but i think the R1 is no diferant from any other bike for stuntin on. ive tried f4i's, gsxr 600/750/1000's 954's, z1000's, R6's 929's al sorts and they are all the same to me, just gotta get use to each bike for a bit is all

the only thing you gotta do is strenth'n up the sub fraim like what ive done with mine. ive done 94,000 kms on my bike and sezed it 2 times and it still runs fine. :fiddy:
