OK, this place I know that deals with bikes and they have a 03 GSXR 1000 and wants $5300 for it and it has 2350miles.....
A little about it...
its salvaged. BUT, this place usually deals with good salavges. They grab the ones with minor damage. On this one, someone tried to do a wheelie, over did it, didn't cover the rear break and it fliupped over. Something you guys here know is not uncomon. The damn sub frame bent, the tails light etc is gone and has some plastic damage on the right side.
After they are done, it'll have a new tail light, new subframe, new rear plastics. And from what I understand they might even throw in the right side plastic that got scratched a bit.
The next thing is they say they have been sooooo busy, they haven't gotten around to it. Which is in my favor. My money situation won't be there until August. So by that time they should have finished it or close.
So what do you think?
How hard is it really to sell a salvaged bike? When I was young I was always told to avoid it unless you plan to kee pthe bike for a looonnnng time. Then it wouldn't matter. SO what do you think? Yay or Nay?
Or would you just by a cheaper bike that is older that doesn't have the salvaged title on it. Actually when they are done they'll have the title redone. It'll be a rebuilt title....
