I didn't know that... sucks that he won't get it. I wish they would just bring the death penalty back for every single state and ONLY use it if you can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt (or DNA) that the person is guilty.

i've not watched the news in a while....what happened down on prospect? i remember the serial killer a few years ago....um, by paola or hillsdale lake or somewhere around there.

I heard something awhile back about finding bodies in the prospect corridor....I don't watch the news either...it's never good news, 'so and so got shot...2 people died in a car wreck' etc....so I don't know if they ever found out who did it.....they think/thought they had a serial killer down there...

I don't care how much 'punishment' the death penalty is, at least he's out of our pockets.....as far as cruel and unusual punishment goes....I'm open to the idea.....

i only read how he did it to the otero family and how he wanted to get those 2 girls, but didn't....that's all i could handle
I listened to excerpts from the trial....when he was explaining what he did..there was nothing in his voice, literaly-he was speaking as if he was doing some normal everyday activity....nothing special....it was a lil creepy....I don't really need to know anything else about him.....

Fuck that guy and everyone or everything like him. When i used to live in WI some creep tried pushing his way into my house when my sister was home alone. I swore i would dismember maim and slaughter, making sure they stayed alive long enough for it to make them shit themselves, anyone who ever tried to burn my family or friends like that again. then i would scoop it into a couple of garbage bags tie it with a pretty pink ribbon and drag it to the cop shop.

The guy is a fukkin sick freak. He's seriously really messed.
As for the family I feel bad for them. But I must say I don't understand some people. Just like the 9/11 planes. In some of the flights no one got up to confront the jerks with the box cutters. Its like people are too "backboneless" if that is the right word.
I mean, the guy had FOUR chances from what I heard to severely beat the shit out of the moron that went into his house with his 2 kids and wife.
1st chance to severely fuk him up.
BTK dickhead said that the dog was being a nuisance and ask that Mr. Otero take the dog outside. But Mr Otero sent his kid. DAMN, dude you had a chance. Act like your struggling with the dog and most of the time you will have a SPLIT second in which the killer guy is not going to be paying attention to you. LIke when he is pointing the gun at the wife while he's opening the back door for the dog.
On your way back, I'd take a shot for my family in an attempt to grab the SOB. A gun shot would cause neighbors to hear something going on.
2nd chance.

3rd chance.
He said that Mr. Otero had suffered a broken rib in a car accident. So he untied his so he could get a parka to put around his waist and to get a pillow.

I do not understand it. Maybe some people just shut down when faced with intense stress. GOD gave them 4 chances. Not so much the kids as they cannot fight a man, not the wife as she is too feminine and weak to fight a man, so he the father had a chance to grab that son of a bitch and severely fukked him up. Why? He is not motovated off "fantasies" like BTK man. He is driven off of saving his and his families lives. A man will go to the extreme in a fight when these things are threatened. Or at least I would. But I am guessing alot of men are not very assertive in decisions that could save their lives. .
I just feel bad for how they died and the kids and what this kook did. Sufforcating and they didn't die? Then he had to come back and do it again?
That is sad as hell. I am not sure about how to deal with punishing this guy. It seems enough is not enough. Not just think if you were his (BTK freak) kids? You KNOW that you and your kids will carry a psychotic gene. How would you deal with that? That would be hard. Do you have kids? What if that kid becomes insane and kills as well?

And Bikerboy...I think that the kids are gonna be fucked no matter what...whether it's a specific gene that causes it, or if it has something to do with trauma early in life...what could be more traumatic than finding out that your dad is a serial killer? Growing up with a dad like that couldn't have been the most nurturing environment for perfect mental health anyway.......sucks for them tho...having to read about it, and see it on the news-all the shit that's associated with it...that's enough to drive someone over the edge.....

as for his kids, i believe his daughter helped to turn him in. they're going to be for sure fucked though. wether or not they go crazy and kill people, or if they have to live with being his kids....they'll always get looked on in that town.

after you had said we've been having alot of bad things happening here, i thought about it, and we really have. almost a year ago when that woman cut open and killed that pregnant girl to get her baby, and then those parents that killed and burned their kids, someone had posted on another site where an abortion clinic was shut down because the doctor was caught eating fetus (i never heard that and i looked it up, but the news here didn't say anything).
America's Most Wanted did that profile on the girl in Olathe (?) that got killed at that pool, and left in the maintenance shed...Precious Doe.....and there's probably quite a few that i've forgotten about...oh, and the 55 shootings so far this year....may not be alot for some places, but it's a shitload for around here...the midwest used to be a relatively safe and normal place..but shit's getting fucked up nowadays.....

Precious Doe is probaly the worse in my book. It just discussed me how her mom and her boyfriend could do that to her...the girl was not even 4, and he had kicked her in the head several times and she laid there dead for a few days until they got rid of her. I've not been to the memorial they have for her, my boss lives right by it though, and said it has so much stuff there.
that is just proof that some people shouldn't breed...I can't even imagine how someone could do some shit like that...I'm glad they got caught..and are gonna have to own up to it tho....it just blows me away, how reckless some people can be with the things that should be the most important to them....

EXACTLY! the mom was a crackhead, and a ton of other kids and almost all by different dads. she came up here to look for a job, didn't find one, but found some drugs and stayed for a while.....then that happened, and she left not to long after.
BTK has already signed the rights to let someone write a book about his life....just heard that a little while ago..... :boggled:
