A few of my friends and I were riding, and at 86th and university we came upon this r6. Like, 03 I think Black with red flames. And this dude was like showin off and shit, without a lid doing wheelies down the line between cars and shit. Wouldnt talk to us or anything, so I dunno who he is, But he pulled off into some parking lot, and we passed him, and I guess he must have pulled back out and tried to catch up or something? And I assume he was fucking around at 86th and Douglas intersection, and he bit it. We circled around and when we got back the EMS and shit was all over the place and his bike was fucked, and he was on a stretcher and in a neck brace with the paramedics everywhere, So I dunno who he is. But lesson learned, wear your lid if your gonna fuck around, He probably would've got up and walked away.
4th of July by the way. About 8:30 - 9:00 PM I think.

hate to hear about stuff like that....my deepest condolences....

unfortunatley it only takes that one dumbass not paying attention, and even the best rider can get hurt...

sorry to hear about the loss. i dont have my license yet...taking my class/test in september. i know im going to be as carefull as possible on the bike, but its other drivers that worry me alot. i mean, my ex's step dad has a cdr 1000 and LITERALY EVERY time he leaves work (busy intersection) he almost gets hit and ends up pulling into the median along with the car that almost hit him. he's gotten to where he just TRYS to keep his cool and says "let me guess.......YOU DIDNT SEE ME!!!!?????" and that is always the case.

again, sorry you lost your friend

i talked to the rider today and his name is randy, i've riden with him before and he's a good guy... i got to thinkin' and realized the only person i knew with a L.E. R6 was him so i called him... he didn't say what happened but he's okay, even with a lid he would'a had a ride to hospital anyway, he fractured his ankle hurt his ribs and banged up his leg pretty good (said it's swollen way up)... he got lucky and didn't hit his head...

He tall and skinny??? If so I know him. Sucks that he crashed, but it was bound to happen if it was him.

yeh that's him... you're prolly right, i haven't rode with him much but been told he's a little squirly... i think he's buying or bought a CBR 1K RR repsol repli. so we'll see how the rest of his summer goes...

Shitty that he went down, but yeah I guess you could call his riding squirly. far be from me to talk about riding skill, but he needs to worry about what he is doing and not who he can impress
