View Full Version : FUCKIN 18 WHEELERS...
i lowsided the 636 today, it was raining so I slowed down, goin to my cousins house and he was behind me in his truck, I was goin like 35 mph around a curve that i'm not familiar with when I see this 18 wheeler in the middle of the road, so he panics and trys to get over to his lane, and i get as far right as I can, but there was gravel on the right side of the road so i ended up sliding trying to save it but the bike fell over to the left side, I hit the road head first and bit my lip and went sliding for about 5-9 yards...my cousin said he saw the bike hit me on my right shoulder....I know i'm stupid for not buying fuckin frame sliders now, and I decided to be a dumbass and wear a sleeveless shirt today, so my knees are burning up right now and i scratched up my left arm
I'm soo pissed off right now, the 18 wheeler didnt even stop, my cousin would of chased the guy but he said he was scared i had went unconscious, and now my 636 aint pretty anymore, broken left mirror, scratched to hell stator cover, 2 little cracks in the upper plastic, rashed tail, broken shifter, rashed plastics, rashed left clip on, rashed clutch lever...I'll get pics up later, i'm just so mad....I love sportbikes but putting $1000 bucks worth of damage on a bike i'm still paying for doesnt seem worth it to me right now, fuck! i'm so pissed, sorry for the rant guys....i'll get pics up soon....anyone know how much this is gonna cost me?

Probably gonna cost more than a G .... what about insurance?
shit, i think we just now swapped over to another insurance today, I dont think my dad wants me to claim it since our insurance rate just went down becuase we swapped over...

dam bro, hate to hear that shit. glad ur OK. if you claim it on ins it'll cost like hell in the long run. them 636's are massed produced and parts are usually plentifull on ebay. what you don't find today mite be there tommorrow. thats how ebay is.

im sorry that happened, im in the same situation only my bike doesnt even have a front end right now. and forget insurance whats your deductable? mine was $700 :(

That plastic don't seem all that badly damaged. But I don't think it would cost more then a G. Hell check out some of the after market sites. Or either here on this site or ebay even. Sorry for the bad luck man. Something similar happened to me a few years back. No one stoped or nuth'n. Take it easy. And watch them 18 wheelers!!

dont worrie about the bike u can get that sprayed cheap as. if you where here in sydney i could get it done for nothing for ya. im sure u can find a cheap sprey painter that will do it for ya....
