how do i change a way that a file is saved.....
its wmv file, and my vid editing software wont read it.....how can i change it to another type of file.......anyone???

I doubt changing the file extension is going to help. If you change it to another recognized file type it's probably just going to error out calling it invalid. But anyways, in tools->folder options->view, there is a box called "Hide file extensions with known file types" or something like that. Uncheck it, and you can now see file extension, so you can rename the file easily.
