Well I was riding downtown Detroit last Sat night, and although my VFR is a relative overweight pig (450 lbs and 100ish hp dont remember the torque #'s) BUT, I had the front up on the freeway (pure accident, so I let off) Was doing 60ish, downshifted to 2nd or 3rd to grab some of the powerband, and up it came. Not real good, but meh.. I know your guys' bikes are a lot lighter, and more powerful than a VFR will ever be, but Id love to just once (OK all fucking day) bust a freeway wheelie or two.. Think its possible? Or should I give up, not be such a poser and buy a cruiser...... I do wheelies constantly, but never actually tried at speed, most I do are clutched up at anywhere from 5 to 35mph. I used to do power wheelies all the time, but they are kinda boring. Ive had the bike since new, so Im plenty comfortable, and can predict what its going to do most of the time except for that one time it passed me sliding on its side (whoopsie!) http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/style_emoticons/oldemoticons/wheel.gif

You can wheelie anything at speed man. I used to have an 04 FZ1 that weighed just as much as your bike but made a little more power. And i would ride down the interstate doing wheelies all day long. All i did was stand on the back pegs and clutch it up in 3rd goin about 65 and up she came nice and easy. The pig was so heavy that i had to stand on the back pegs, so i didnt have the rear brake covered that was a little scary sometimes. but thats how i did it.
This pic is right before i got it to the balance point. Would ride it for miles but without covering the rear brake i was chasing the front tire most of the time so i would eventually have to put it down and it was usually around 110-120

wow thats a low balance point!! VFR's is up there! Guess Ill have to try experimenting with it.. To me, its easy to lift the front, been doing it long enough, but never really attempted it at freeway speeds... Always thought nuttin looked cooler than a freeway wheelie... ehhhh, Ill put it down when Im ready LOL.. I know, no talent, but I like em anyways.
