has any of you have a crack in your frame due to wheelies????????????
i got two cracks in my frame at the top and up to the front of the frame.
two cracks same spot on both sides.... what the fuck gives..
ITS NOT CRACK NOW AND I HAVENT DONE ANY WHEELIES SINCE THIS PIC.
IF YOU NOTICED NOT CRACKED, BUT I MARKED THE SPOT WHERE IT IS

I have been riding Gsxrs for about 4 years now.. Yes that is normal.. My 02 750 that i just got rid of has the same cracks plus a few more.. the best way to render this problem is to drop the motor out of the frame and get almunium plates welded to the inside of the frame.. these wholes were put there to tighten up the throttle bodies to the main engine.. but this weekend the main frame.. espically when coming down from wheelies.. fix it now before it gets worse and cost alot more money!!!

YEAH...I've got a 01 gsxr1000 it hasnt done that yet...my buddys did thought.... had plates welded to the back side of the frame spar

my zx6r is the same exact way. Welded to complete fuck. I kept riding it of course until it pretty much broke through.
of course it was caused that one year I sent it summer saulting down the road. :rotfl:
i've had it welded a couple times and it still seems to crack the weld where they fixed it. two different people did it. I guess they didn't let it heat up enough, and just like droptop said, it doesn't hurt to get some extra plating welded in there.

same shit happened to me today on both sides and im pissed.. happen to my boys 636 yesterday too. Im just gonna have them weld a plate on the inside cause im not gonna keep deelin wit that and no way do i have cash for a new frame if this shit breaks
