this has got to the longest shift of my life!

The hotel is at 45% occupancy tonight!! VERY slow. I'm going crazy, I have nothing to do. Its sad too, I did my "call arounds" tonight to see how busy the other hotels in my area are, and out of the 6 near me, 4 of them are SOLD out... yet my hotel is less than half full! ekk.

The only good news is.. I'm getting paid for postwhoring and a guest just bought me dinner :spin:

Anyways... does anyone else's job get INSANELY boring like this??

Mine is boring too. It used to be cool til i got switched to a different building. Right now, im conductign a test, a test to see how long I can go without actually doing any work. Its been since last tuesday so far. I kind of want to get laid off, its time for a change.

I've been trying to get laid off all summer so I can tend to more important things such as riding and going to the beach every day. It's harder than I thought it would be to get shit-canned. I'll probably get laid off just in time for the first snowfall. I fuckin' hate the snow.

I got laid off before, I was heartbroken. I loved my old job. I worked with the nicest people alive. But I guess if I didn't, I never would have applied to the hotel, and while I hate my hotel, I like the business and decided to pursue working with hotels as my future. I love hotel life. I found my niche.

I sit in a computer room, by myself, with nothing but the droning hum of the Ciscos. Today I took a 2 hour lunch and went and sat in the woods, I liked it there so much better that I'm moving out there. I can do about 50% of my job remotely, and the other 50% im just not gonna do.
