I have a 929 i'm going to stunt. I got my cage and 12 bar. I'm throwing the cage on it this weekend. I am new to this so I'm not scraping or know slow shit yet. My question is should i get my slow wheelies down then throw th bar on or learn with the bar on. I just don't really want to rock a crispy bar and not tap the shit. I'll feel like a wanna be.
Any suggestions?

i think its better to learn without a 12 bar, teaches you to be smoother and shit

learn stock everything, i also have a 929, i just learned recently (before i blew it up) and i learned with stock gears, stock idle and no bar.. when first learning you're not always the most balanced, might go side to side a little if you chop, you don't want that bar hitting sideways or catching an edge, and sure as shit don't wanna get hit by it

I say put the bar on, I was tring to rock slow stuff for ever, with no bar every time I went back to far I looped out because the subframe dug in the ground and made me reck, so I made a bar and and I had it in one day just hit the bar and it slide not dug in, after that I knew it was ok to come back on it with out wrecking, so I say put the bar on it helps you be safer and gives you more confidence. good luck

Normally I'd say put it on now.
If/when you loop a wheelie it will save the tail...however, I noticed your from nyc. Alot of ny stunters (myself included) are stuck up on the old school mentality. The rule of the streets is No bar untill you earn it, but you know how street rules go, they're more about respect.

How dangerous is it to learn stoppies w/ a bar attatched? I keep picturing a broken pelvis or leg, or worse...both.
