I just took a tour of the building to check out what other restrooms there are. Most floors have a security guard for whatever company rents the floor. I found a couple that dont, and the first one I tried had an unlocked bathroom. It was clean, and the toilet was small so my scrawny ass fit it pretty well.

I picked up one of those electronic home thermostats for my tomato room. Its made to control the furnace and central air. I dont have either of those. I do have a soldering iron and a bunch of power strips. Im going to wire the switch froma power strip into the central air circuit on my thermostat. Then i can just plug my window ac unit into that, along with a couple small box fans.
And some 6" dryer hose to get teat cold air exactly where I want it

Those are just opinions. One of the reasons for not using a good synthetic in an old vehicle is that the seals may be gunked up from the old oil. Synthetic will clean this out and may cause an oil leak if the seals are in bad shape. I put synthetic into a car with 150K miles and never had any oil leaks. I wouldn't put it into a neglected car with a ton of miles but it should be fine to use in anything that's in decent shape. You can switch back and forth if you want as well. Synthetic doesn't do anything to the motor that would stop normal oil from working.

You don't have to have bypass filtration to run longer drain intervals. Amsoil recommends 25K mile drain intervals with their oil and normal filters. The bypass filter is just for added insurance. I'm willing to bet you could run a lot more than 25K with a bypass filter.
