Shit Hurts

Last night, met up with a friend who said he got a bike. So I headed over to check it out. Took it out for a spin, just around the block in 4th gear going about 45-50mph. Downshift to third, then maybe apply 50% of the front brake, when all of a sudden, his front fender catches the wheel, and folds it to the right. I make like superman and high side like no other through the air. Stayed at the hospital for about 7 hours getting taken care of. Man, getting scrubbed down has got to be one of the worst pains. Had both my feet scrubbed, heel scrubbed, knee scrubbed (swollen as hell, looks bigger than a softball), both hands, elbow, hip, and lower back. Waiting to get the internet hooked up on my phone, and I'll get some pictures up for you guys. Be safe out there, shit can happen at random. Lucky to walk away the way I did with just wearing shoes, jeans, t-shirt, and hat. (Which is the first and last time I will ride without gear).
