ok so my f3 is all of a sudden runnin like shit.....at idle if i crack the throttle it will either bog down or just die. then other the bike will be perfect. if im ridin down the road it will be ok until i hit around what i think is about 5 grand then chop up real bad and sometimes it will chop and then smooth out. anyone got any ideas?
its a streetfighter and i grounded the solid pink wire for the gauges,but does anyone have a pic of the wire that should be gorunded?

Might be your plugs...referring to the bogging when you crack on it...

i'd check the fuel pump and fuel filter to start.

fuel pump and strainer inside my tank were both clogged,the gas smelt stale too idk how the fuck that happened i only fill up at sunocos,mobils and shell stations no cheap shit. i also taped half my ram air and it ran 10x better but still a lil choppy at time im gonan chnage the plugs and hopefully that should be the end of this dilemma

might check out your carbs too, if your fuel pump and tank strainer were clogged you prolly got some gunk in them as well

How long has it been since you got your carbs tuned? Might be something to think about. Check out this web site you can download the dealers service manual for the free! That’s right complete dealers manual for the FREE! Maybe you can find something in it that will help you out.

yea so i changed the plugs and it didnt do shit.....im pretty sure my carbs got shit in them.......if my carbs are out of sync would the bike still run? i can still stunt it but its just runnin shitty.

it wont have much torque on the idle, even if you turn it up. When your tapping the brake, the engine wont come back up unless you hit the throttle a little bit every few taps.
