If you want to post shit on the internet you don't need a damn thang, however if you want to actually sell a DVD with their music in it, you need a few things. If they are a signed band, you need a written release of from their label (even if it's an indie label). If the band is not signed, they probably don't give a shit, so I would just ask them. lol.

I met up with Todd Colbert down in florida last year and he said Judgment Day was such a pain in the ass that he refuses to use signed bands anymore. There are so many bands that don't give a crap if you use their stuff or not, it's a piece of cake. Check out garageband.com and mail some of the bands on there. I'm sure they would be thrilled.

BTW, I'm in a band. PM me and I'll send you some crap. you can see if you want it or not. :) Iron Ass (hump you with my CBR) (http://www.willowtreeaudio.com/media/IronAss.mp3)
