yeah, 1st at 10 grand you should have to hit the rear brake not to loop, is the back tire just spinnin like a mofo or what, try starting off in first get up to about 8,000 and let off the gas for a second then get back on the gas (no clutch) it should power up easy

well written, exactly what he said. go at your own pace and just get used to having the wheel come up.

It's not a weight thing either. Get that out of your head. You're not heavy. I'm about 290lbs and I could pick up my buddy's F4i at 70 mph and ride it until I got bored. If anything, the added weight helps you because you can toss that little bike around like it's nothing!

+1 to just getting comfortable with the wheel in the air. You must have been letting off the gas when it was coming up. That fucker should JUMP!

Good luck. Take it slow.

its not that your popping the clutch cause youll kill yourself doing that one finger on the clutch and what u wanna do is slip the clutch if your going down the road just take that one finger and pull in a little youll see then go slow in a lower gear and jerk it up doing that.

thats what i'm trying to do still pop it everynow and then it's a pain teaching myself don't know anybody that rides sports bikes so it's a slow process but every time getting a little better. starting to be able to ride the lower ones out still scared if it comes up to high and tap brake but getting better

it's part of learning.. i wouldn't be starting them at 10 grand first gear, ya just gunna hit the limiter real quick, try starting it lower in the rev range, say about 6000rpm and give it more clutch and throttle. start small and work up.
