I am not one to normaly bring up the past but today was the day that many people lost thier lives becuase of terrorists. To all the Police Officers that we sometimes dont like, to all the FireFighters and EMT's, and especialy all my military brothers and sisters......thank you. So I ask you to remeber those who have lost their lives for our country today making the ultimate sacrifice......and to my best friend SGT. (Army Ranger) Christopher Ryan Olson....I know I have one more guardian angel watching over me.
I had just gotten to Malmstrom AFB here in Montana about three weeks earlier. I was at the chow hall when the second plane hit....and to be honest I thought it was something out of a movie. I remeber reporting into my sup. at the time and I was asked if I was qualified on the M60 machine gun. I answered yes and about 20 minutes later I found myself on top of our headquartes building posted for 18 hrs. on aireal security. That's when it hit me that this was no joke..........
i was sitting in government class and i remember my teacher saying, "our lives and country will never be the same after this."
boy was he right!

Well I had just gotten off of work (I work nights) and was having a beer or two and watching Fox News and saw it live. I sat there not knowing what to think. 2/1-2 yrs later I'm in Iraq......Go Figure...
Now I wish I could have a beer and watch Fox News at home.

I was actually underwater taking my scuba diving certification when the first plane hit. When I surfaced everybody was freaking out and saying that a plane accidently hit the tower. I was in my calculas class when the second plane hit.

I was in bed sleeping. . then the phone rang. . my mom who was on vacation half way across the country called and was like "we're being attacked by terroriest". . I was like what the fuck does that mean. . it's 8:45 in the morning. She told me to turn on the t.v. I then found myself glued to watching the news and ended up being late for my communication graphics class. I went to work (Best Buy) after that. . it was slow as hell. . alot of people flocked in but only to watch 1 of our 200 tvs. . . a day i will never forget. God Bless America and those who live their lives to help others!!!
