back in tha day i had my gixxer 6 at 176 pinned. it wouldnt go any higher. only stayed there for like 20 seconds. deffinitly some crazy shit goin on in my head though!!!!!!!

the pboblem with goin that fast is that your not even on the ground anymore your just hydro plainin

Daaamn, Emrock. I don't even want to think of all the legal shite with that. I've only seen 174 on the 1000, but I know speedos don't work accurately at high speeds. -I kept running out of road. Fast.

in 2000 i got to ride my buddies turbo 'busa on the salt flats in utah and got it up to 202 by the gps (that's all the faster it would go with my fat ass on it)...the original speedo showed 217, so that shows how far off at high speeds those factory speedos are.... wouldn't wanna' go that fast on the streets for sure, one blink or mistake and you turn yourself inside out on the back of a semi or something....

I saw and inducated 210 on my Busa, it was most likely low 190's. (00 Busa, Yosh cams, Muzzy pipe, PCII, airbox mods, airshifter, etc...) I used to like to go fast and dragrace and shit then I started making wheelies. :D

I've hit 185mph on my gsx-r 1000 quite a few times. Don't know if that's actual speed though because these digital speedometers can mess up. I maxed out my '03 gsx-r 600 at 179mph but I know for sure that's not accurate. The difference in how fast I'm going on my 1000 and my 600 is big but the speedometer says a different thing.
