I just don't get how anyone could think a female comp is a good idea. You just happened to be the only female in here that might be able to answer some of my questions.

I agree. Could be a publicity stunt by CC to draw in a crowd.

i agree with alie on the commitment and motivation...
you can be a stunt rider and suck...
you can play baseball and suck and still be a baseball player even thou no one would want you on their team.
or better yet go out on a boat and try to fish for years and still never catch anything...you could still call yourself a fisherman.

yeah...they'd just be a sucky fisherman and a sucky baseball players. LMAOOOOO. I bet there are a lot of people that suck in their hobbies, but love it anyhow...all those crazy golfers.

Zuki750

I disagree. I think stunting is stunting. If you love it, practice regularly and still suck, in my eyes you are a stunter because you are committed, have heart and love it regardless of your skill level. Talent level is not how I grade whether a person is a stunter, I feel its based on commitment and motivation.

BTW which women do you know that claim to be stunters to date?

i dunno. in fact I dunno anyone admitting to entering...but there are chicks that balance wheelies and more...could be some of them. Or it could be no one and there will just be a standard comp.
I believe you have to progress beyond power wheelies to be called a stunter. I'm not saying you have to have highchair circles.

No.
This goes back to my point about commitment. It shouldn't take a comp to pressure you to learn something. I don't think it takes talent to become a stunter, just time, money, and commitment. Don't get me wrong it takes talent to become even decent but to be called a stunter you just have to put in your time in with an honest attempt at learning something. Not just talk about it.

The half hour comp must be the womens but only 1.5 hours for the men? How many people are going to this thing? Stuntwars can barely get through qualifying for indiv. freestyle in a single day.

There are endo's and burnouts, acros and clutch whoolies, drifting, etc.

This is an interesting question. People tell me I can never be considered a stunter because I often stunt on a 50. On the other hand, I'm not so bad at it and some really, really good stunters have given me props when they see me ride during practice sessions at comps.

Now I practice on the 50 less and the F4i much more. It's harder to control the F4i and I tend to take up the entire lot haphazardly. I pull over when the lot gets crowded, but when I notice the guys start to BS and get tired, I take advantage of the opportunity and practice. No one likes a squid and I respect the space of stunters that are more experienced and controlled. So I practice less on the F4i now, but I hope that will change with the weather getting colder.

I only started stunting the F4i...i'd say a month and a half ago. Before that I was kinda happy riding the F4i and stunting the 50.

What's a high speed wheelie? I can't do anything at high speeds. I need to be at an almost dead stop to clutch up and ride it out without slapping, unless its a power whoolie in 1st, but I'm still not going fast.

Let's ride together next year. Are u going to stuntwars?

I feel like I learned engine break and brake control alot on the fiddy. I never used the brakes or engine brake on my big bike but now that I know what both feel like and I have a good feel for them I think it will carry over on the big bike, Now I just need to try it.

yup, the 50s good to help learn......
and that other comment is bullshit...i know people who can stunt relatively well and couldnt wheelie a 50 or nothing to save their life...
and if anyones says that shit to you, thats cuz they are trying to make themselves feel better or "above " you......fuck that.....anyone that knows, knows that on my 50, i'll make any average "motorcycle" stunter look stupid riding next to him.
if your good on a 50 you can put on a good show.......obviously a strictly 50 stunt show would get boring, as a strictly motorcycle event often does...

I never have any idea how fast I'm going anymore. Last night I looked down at my gauges to make sure I wasn't excessively speeding since I blew past Gil and it said 168 mph. I figured that equates to going around 80 maybe with 8 up?

I'd guess they'll feel completely different on the big bike. A 50 has almost no engine brake and the rear brake sucks. Not the case with a sport bike.

I'd guess they'll feel completely different on the big bike. A 50 has almost no engine brake and the rear brake sucks. Not the case with a sport bike.

Everything is different. I have to relearn throttle control when I switch from my DRZ to my f4i.

The rear brake is very similar.

If you're only 8 up, you were flying. My bike was 10 up and 100 mph on the speedo was about 82.

But I felt like the stock bikes were passing me by like I wasn't even moving.

They do feel different but its the same concept, going back from my 50 to the 929 was a bitch with throttle control. Took a few minutes to get used to it

Looks like i have to get gil to drive the truck in case it rains...I hate riding in the rain:

Tonight: Isolated thunderstorms this evening followed by a few showers overnight. Low 67F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

My house closing went pretty straight forward today. I had to sign a whole bunch of shit. So much that my hand actually hurts a little. I havent physically written anythign more than my name in over ten years. It was me, the buyers, and a bunch of lawyers and banker type people. One of them was pretty hot. Bout my age, decent body, jewish looking, bolt ons that she kept having to lift onto the table when she had to write. Her finger and toe nails matched too, always a plus.

No it was an older guy. He gets out and was like oh we got lucky. I said no I got hit. Then he says well everything looks ok, I said no the bumper is spiderwebbed in a few spots. He points at a few little scuffs and says I'm not paying for that crap, I said you just hit a 2000 lb car with a 30k lb truck, it may have only been at 10-15 mph but you think you aren't gonna do any damage? I said My neck and back hurt too, he said oh give me a break fucking people like you that cause insurance problems. It was on the highway and traffic was backing up, I said cops will be here soon he said well lets exchange numbers. So we did, I got his license plate and place of employment. Now I just need to figure out if I should call him, his work, or try to file a police report after the fact.

Thats whyy I like having most of my players in MA.

I can see him doing something maybe to help, but I dont consider him a celeb. He's more of a bussiness man.

Unless real famous celebs go on TV and say stuntriding is the future or some bs I dont see them helping, unless they plan on throwing alot of money at the sport.:twocents:

I was tailgating some negros on the way home from work the other day. it is 4 lanes going each way boulevarded. They were in the left middle lane and going 5 under the limit. All of a sudden they tried to brake check me while coming to a COMPLETE stop in the middle of this road. I left myself an out to the left like I always do so I swerved while matting the accelerator and filling their car with a nice haze of black smoke.:thumbsup
