get a set of lowering links.. they are the dog bone looking things under the bike that connect to the shock, and slide the fork tubes up...

lower your seat (cut it down), that´s the easiest way, cuz you only need an inch!
...rip off the seat cover, cut down the foam put the cover back on... :twocents:

i dropped the front today and i think maybe a 1/2 inch in the rear will be plenty ...... about cuttin seat...i have been thinking about making my seat into a 2 peice(so i can actually use the storage compartment under the rear because right now i have to undbolt the seat just to get to it

Do you have a buddy that works at a machine shop?? I had my buddy Terry make me my dog bones and install them for me. It was simple, lowered my bike 3 inches (I am only 5'1") and I had my front lowered about an inch to even it out. I don't know anything about messing with the seat but I can tell you I went from one bike with one huge seat and no storage to this bike now with two seats and a HUGE storage trunk and I love it now (I can carry my purse and my coat in it)...lol
If you can't get anyone to make you the dog bones, you can always check on ebay or call some local stores...I think my bike came with standard 6" bones and I had to make 9" bones. Find out what your standard is.

Lowering it will make it less wheelie-friendly

Mine wheelies just fine....I also have mine geared -1/+5 up though...he shouldn't have a problem, he's not lowering it that much...

im goin down just enough for me to be comfortable with how my legs are....droppin just the front helped a little and i went about a inch so imma go about 1/2 in the rear....plus im gettin sprockets soon so it shouldnt hurt my wheelies

another thing i have thought about to fix the whole single/double seat problem is to find out how hard a f4i tail peice would be to fit onto my f3

i lowered mine and it would scrape the belly sometimes when i came down from a wheeli or endo, so i raised it back up. wheeli's better but back to my toes when i stop.

i have thought about entire f4 plastics but i figure by the time i did all that i could sell mine and buy a f4 for around the same price
