fuel injection coversion on f4

so im on the buy/sell page, and joey's got that f4i motor for sale, and i was like sweet slap that in my f4 and im all set up. but now im like wait, cant i just put the fuel injection system on my motor and call it good? is this easy to do, anyone ever done it? seems to me like it would be a hell of a lot easier and cheaper than swappin out motors. i know a dude that put f.i. on a 98 gix750, so i assume i could do it on my f4 real easy.....

im guessin i would need the computer, wiring harnesses, and the whole f.i. system. is that it?

Yeah, you need all that stuff. Or you can buy the kit. I forgot where I saw it but it comes with the computer, wire harness, throttle bodies, injectors, etc. It even comes with 2 lowercase "i" stickers to complete the conversion.

ahh fuck man ive been lookin it up, and from what i see is that its way complicated....it looks like u need all sorts of shit. i mean even if i throw in a f4i engine, won't i still need the guages, airbox, etc....shit this seems more complicated than i thought, i was under the impression that i could just take the f4i engine, harness, cpu and just swap it with the carbed engine....maybe i should just leave it.....
