i reposted it.. because the other thread got jacked.. :blabla: but this is for you peeps.. that want to no what goes down at MEPS..
Ok.. well i am bored.. at work. and i thought that i would tell you about my MEPS experience.. ok.. well.. i went to the recruiters office.. to get a ride to the MEPS building.. Ok.. well i guess i got the worst driver because i felt like i was in a nascar winston cup race car.. anyways.. i arrived.. at MEPS.. around 3:30 began my test.. around 3:45.. go done around 4:45.. it took me about a hr to complete.. that is just rushing threw it.. Educatedly guessing on things.. anywayz.. It was easy.. i made a 68... when i got done.. and went to the control counter and had to give him my envelope with my ASVAB scores enclosed.. anyways.. he told me to have a seat.. and the shuttle would be there to pick me up soon.. so i was like ok.. can i see my scores.. he replied you get them when you leave.. so im sitting there.. i sat there for 2 hrs.. waiting for the shuttle then it arrived.. I went back to the hotel.. got assigned to a room.. i had a roomate that looked like a serial killer.. anyways.. i went to dinner we got a free dinner at the hotel.. Which to let you no SUCKED.. Went back to my room.. watched tv.. then went to the Lounge were they provided drinks for us.. and a snack.. then went walking around the town.. but had to be back in by 11.. around 10:30 i got back to my room.. i walked in and my roomate was asleep.. which i was thankful for.. because.. i didn't really like him.. anywayz.. I took a shower.. and i wasn't at all sleepy.. so i just watched tv.. well.. wake up call was around 4:30.. and we had to be on the bus by 5:30... and it was around 2.. when i decided.. i was just going to stay up all night.. so anyways.. i just watched.. re-runs of Real world.. and shit like that.. and then.. when the wake up call came.. i just went down and ate breakfast(Which sucked also).. then went and got on the bus.. we arrived back at MEPS at a 6 AM.. we had to be searched.. b4 we entered the building and my dumb recruiter never told me that i couldn't take my knife.. (I carry one all the time) with me to MEPS.. well soon as i got there they said all those that have weapons.. plz step to the side.. well about 8 of us stepped over.. and a ARMY LIASON.. walked over and said give me your weapons.. she took our knifes.. and threw them in the dumpster.. I was a bit pissed off.. but it was a piece of shit anyways.. well i got inside.. and they told us to go and get our name tag.. and our Screenin documents.. so i got my documents.. and waited.. to be called.. I was the last to go in.. and when i got back to the back.. were they were processing ppl.. the mood switched.. to MILTARY.. i mean they would yell at you.. and cuss at you... it was funny.. but they all got a laugh at my last name because it is funny.. the rest of the day.. the First sergant called me FUNKY.. lol.. well.. i took my pee test first.. which is funny because they are standing there watching you pee.. lol.. (8 ppl couldn't go the first time they went in).. i pissed in the cup.. and gave it to some women.. washed my hands.. and then went and got my eyes examined.. well.. no big shocker.. i am going to have to wear glasses.. lol.. anyways.. after that.. i went and got my blood taken..(WHICH BY THE WAY IS THE most painful thing of the day.. ) well i get to the door.. and walk in.. sit down.. and the guy that is taking my blood looks like Macolm X.. well.. i sit down.. and he tells me give him my left arm.. so i give it to him.. he says make a fist.. and squeeze.. so i do so.. and he sticks me.. well.. i guess he missed.. and he kept jaggin me.. with that fucking need.. finally he hit the vein.. and got the blood.. and i went on my way... WHAT A MORON.. would have rather taken my own blood.. Then i got my hearing tested.. i have above normal hearing.. YAY.. then.. i got my physical.. by a 80 year old doctor.. well i get in the office.. he tells me to take off my shirt.. he examines me.. checks my ears.. then tells me to drop my pants.. and underwear.. so i do.. he examines my johnson.. and my love marbles.. and makes me cough.. and then probably the most disturbing thing.. is he tells me to turn around.. and bend over.. and spread my butt cheeks.. ok.. now.. i am a very with my sexuality but i mean.. some 80 yr old guy is telling me to do this.. sadly i do.. then he says.. im done.. and to put my clothes on.. so i go to physical test.. were they check you joints.. and limps.. for problems.. we get in there and they tell us to grab a basket.. and strip down to our underwear.. ok.. there are about 15 guys in there with me.. and it seems a bit weird.. but we all get to our underwear.. and we start doing tests.. on our knees.. elbows.. wrists.. shoulders.. toes.. ankles.. and our weight.. and height.. well.. we get done.. with that.. and we put our clothes back on.. and we go back to the doctor for our final physical.. and he askes you if you have any problems other then what you listed.. and he starts to give you all this bullshit about how you can get in trouble.. lol.. just nod and smile.. well.. once you get done with that you physical is over.. and you go and select your job.. if your recruiter hasn't made other arrangements with you.. mine did.. so i just left when my physical was over.. i was done with it by 12:30.. it wasn't bad.. but it is just a very boring day..
