just wondering what peeps are paying on yearly taxes. i got mine yesterday and it's $250 for a 04' zx6rr. i think it sucks monkey balls. i've got over 12,000 miles and plan to protest it to see if they'll lower it.

mine was like 25 bucks or something like that for my 00 cbr600 and the last known mileage was 6k....
probubly changes alot on what state you live in... i thought it went by wieght anyhow not worth?

how much did they value your bike at????im pretty sure any mileage for a 04 over 4000 makes the value drop drastically

yeah, i've always protested any car/truck i've had. unless it was brandnew. they'll usually drop it some. but i didn't think my bike taxes would be that high this year. last year they were around $290

not sure what the value is. they use a code for it. i'll know when i go in to protest it. i've been in before to protest and they tell u the value of it and i'd be like hell wanna buy it lol :shrugg

well, every state that I always known is the taxes are placed based on the amount of what you piad for the bike.....

south carolina. the first time u pay taxes based on what u paid for the bike. after that they go by the value. my shit must be worth alot haha

just looked value up and you are comin out with $4,575 for a 04 with 12g's on it.....my 97 f3 was 3 somethin with 8 g's and my tazes were only like 40 bucks....and i coulda protested the shit outta it if i hadve shown them the damage

haha, figured it was something easy. it's to early and i'm hung over :drunkchee but if u don't pat ur taxes then u don't get a tag renewal then if u get pulled it's just more fines and shit and possible suspension of license. :ese:

o u mean for ur tags, I C, yeah my tags have been expired over a year, and some people I know haven't had tags in 3 and still ride street, and some people I know, don't even have plates, that ride street.
speaking of which, I got my letter in the mail to renew my tags, blah w/e...

my bro protested on hsi camaro cause they were like 300 sumthin dollars and his car is a big p.o.s. he only paid $600 for it so why should he pay half that for taxes

actually its nice havin to pay taxes on em....cause if youre like me and dont have the money for new cars then youre in luck....we dont have inspections which is why we have fees so they can do shitty upkeep on roads....if a state doesnt require inspections then they dont get goverment funding for roads and shit and south carolina doesnt have em...i just love not havin to pass bullshit inpsections, the only time we have to have something inspected is custom built, all we're required to have to pass is em is head lights, tail lights, brake lights, and pass emissions....we dont have to have salvaged or rebuilt vehicles inspected....so to every rich mutchafucka out there thank you for payin all this upkeep so i can keep blowin unfiltered exhaust fumes in your face..

if u don't pay the yearly taxes u have to turn in the tag and claim the vehicle as sold or junked. and yes we got some fucked up laws but atleast we don't have inspections anymore.
