My boy crashed his new R6 this afternoon. It was kinda funny. No one was hurt, but he was looking at a chik and hit a curb...Bwhahahahahah. I know it's a bad thing to give nOObs a hard time, so I showed him some pointers, but damn if I couldn't stop laughing when he told me. He was one of those guys that had the have a pretty bike b/c he was gonna take care of it. Well....two weeks later, it's a little rashed. I'm glad he isn't hurt.

This wasn't really a "squid" moment, but it was still funny.

My buddy had just bought a zx9r....it was his first bike. It was February last year and we had 50 degree weather and the roads were clear. I talked him into taking it out for a spin. He had never ridden a sportbike before (except my old zx6r around the lawn) and he was really nervous because my driveway was still covered in snow. I took out my beat 929 with a bald back tire, went down the driveway and back up without any issues to show him it was cool.

So anyway we head out for a little 15 minute ride. All was cool. The funny part is the sun had come out around the mountain while we were gone, and it was beating on the snow in my driveway making it really slippery.

We pulled back into the driveway...I see him start to fishtail from side to side...finally the bike does a complete 180 and he drops it. Lucky for him it was an easy drop and into snow so it didn't even scratch it. Still a funny story to pick on him about though since it was his first ride.

The trusty old 929 made it up without a problem.

He ended up with more bad luck late last summer when he hit a dog and dumped the bike again...this time in pavement....$3500 damage to a bike he only paid $3500 for....the dog owners insurance covered it believe it or not.

Lmao, it happens to folks I know. The dude was trying to impress folks on his first 100 miles EVER though. C'mon man. Anyway, he's starting to learn the importance of zip ties and why my shit ain't pretty, haha.
