what's up everyone. we put this on stuntlife too, but stuntUSA always seems more vocal. ..... ... just wanted to get some ideas from you guys. We are taking the bike shop that we have now and expanding! We're buying our own building and going to have a MUCH bigger place. Since we will be building the place from the ground up, we have the option to have anything we want pretty much. We already have some crazy ideas of things to do and have, and I wanted to get some input from you all as to what would be absolutely PIMP to have in a bike shop. ..... anything from what to sell, to what's on display, inside/outside, ect ect ect .. anything goes. Gimme the list! What would YOU want to have in an ALL IN ONE facility? Imagine that the sky is the limit. Go to town. Anything you can think of. what kinds of services to offer, the look of the place, displaying crazy things, ect ect .....

To those of you that already have shops -- what things work, and what things dont? What do you wish you had done differently?? What machines, equipment, or 'things' do you wish you had?

To those of you who are riders/customers -- what experiences have you had that turned you away? what keeps you coming back? what would be absolutely AWSOME to see in a shop? If you had your own shop, what would you have there, and what would you do that other shops dont do?

The best thing are shop has done is make a place where people can come & ride ,chill , & get to know bikes ............I.e there is fiddyS around for peeps to play on .... chill area for riders to rest after a ride( with computers & tvs) but its all pretty ghetto .... so a nice place with these things would be pretty sweet !!
& yes GOGo dancers

have a sit in area with bar stools so everyone who is getting their bike worked onor checked out can talk and have a tv in the back playing stunt videos you dont want a couch there cause niggaz get to comfortable and think its home and shit, bar stools and tall tables is cool and have some type of refreshments like some nachos, snack machine, pop machine, popcorn etc. shit that wont get to messy also have a computer on hand so people can post in the web how tight your place is, and that will build better bussiness for you comin from 1 bussiness man to another holla at cha boy :teacher:

experienced machanics, bikes decked out with all the goodies on'em so peeps can look and touch, lounging area with tv's playing stunt dvd's and 1 with the weather chanel so peeps will see the weather and plan rides, snack machines, prices on items (mofo round here sells by how he feels wich can be good and bad), a posting board for buy/sell/trade items/ & events, set it up like a strip mall with departments for clothing, parts, stunt peices, repair, lounge. idk

I know a guy who just built a cruiser shop here and put windows all along the edge of the showroom between the shop and showroom and ran the tech's bays along those windows so the customers could watch bikes being worked on. You have to have professional looking techs, but it went over really well.

I like the gogo dancers and hamburgers too yo! Just make sure you have a good queso burger. :patriot:

for the front i would have a pefect stock bike on the right on the left i would have a stunt bike all done up with the product that u carry or can get for stunt riders but the bike on the left is the same as the one right done up so when customers come in theyll ask ?'s about the done up bike and helps you with sells and customers learn more about stuntridin and then riders can pin point out what they need by showing you on the stunt bike like, chain ,handbrake line, steering dampner, problems wit cages, etc u know what i mean

An Indoor Wheelie Machine!!!! A life sized Cardboard Cut out of Kelm doing a Kelminator on the Wheelie Machine.

Seriously though...Might consider the Wheelie Machine and Dyno Days hosted on weekends in your Huge Parking lot where you can hold Bike Shows and Meet Ups and Bikini Bike Washes. Of course this must be able to be seen from a main street to perk interest of possible customers.

You might also Split the Showroom into Street, Stunt and Dirt if your product cover all thoses areas. Each section with its own look and its own style Movies playing.

Almost forgot. One Shop I went to had a Burn Out Spot for people buying new tires were able to ....get rid of the old Back Tire.

freindly people, everybody hates the old guy who thinks us riders are all reckless. or some kid in highschool who thinks hes the shit. that just pisses me off.

yeah vids are sweet. but its a toss on rockets, dirt, or crusiers, id show both stunt and race videos cause not eveyon digs stunting. (i dont know why) i guess its the market. harley makes most there money off clothes so rep the rockets cause kids like that stuff,,

theres a shop down here called Blais and although they are a little pricey what i like about them is that the mechanic area is surrounded by windows so you can see thepeople working on your bike from the waiting area/lobby

You should have deals every monday etc. Kind of like pizza places. Also hook people up when they buy jacket, helmet, gloves and shit at one time. Give away free stickers or shirts with purchase. Make people feel like vip's instead of pos.

having deals is real important... i used to goto a shop in colorado and they had diff. deals weekly and monthly... first friday of every month was filter friday with 20% off all instock filters and 10% off on special order ones... he used to have atleast 1 deal a week that could only be found on his website and one deal a week that was by coming in on monday only and picking up a flyer... it was just a good clean shop with space to hang out... he should've had some soda machines around for sure though...

You should get some artists, graphiti or whatever on the come up to do shit inside and out. Maybe help them sell thier shit.

You can have a million dollar give away. I hear thats pretty easy to organize. Like an insurance company does the payout or some shit.

I wouldn't make it too stunt cheezy.
