Lookin to get my bike completely stunt ready. Already got stuff slowed to 30-35mph with everything stock. Got a powers cage on it and I'm just lookin for advice on what to do bout sprockets, 12 bar, subframe re-inforcement, hand brake, stabilizer and anything else anyone can think of. Still would like to be able to keep it somewhat streetable. Thanx for the help.

don't need gears, or a 12 bar, or a handbrake, or a stabalizer... the chances of a tank slap in a lot just doing wheelies is practically not possible.. a handbrake is once you run out of the basic tricks i.e. stand up no handers, sit down no handers, coasters, all that shit.. 12 bars are scary when you crash, get a undertail bar.. and 30-35 is fast.. get it down to 5 mph..then worry about more shit.. i run stock gearing on my f4i.. works just fine

Hey I agree with CrTcHRkTRcR. He has given me vital information. I finally crashed practicing last week. I have the '03zuk1k. But I am -1 front but you dont need that. The thing is you have to idle up your bike to 3000-4000rpm. I started out at 3000 and for the life of me it did not add up because it sounded so loud. Bottom line I was scared. Now, I am up to 3500 and going to idle up to probably 4 after I see next practice session. The difference in the 1000 and the 600's are the throttle and weight. You don't have much room to play with the 1k that slow at novice level. I give it tad nudge on the throttle and its ready to go. I am practicing coasters and I can't play with the throttle well enough once I got the bike on 1 and trying to coast. So the idle really paid off. Figure out what you want to accomplish first and stick to it. You got the cage and I would say that is all you need. Maybe some knee guards like I had to get because I kept banging into my 905 cage when i came down. Good luck , keep us informed of your progress. I have made a tiny step forward but I feel I am about to cross over any minute now to the dark side. Then the fun begins. I can't wait.

Man I am not doing them yet. I am still practicing. I feel though I got it though. But I won't know till my next time out. LIke I said I crashed. And no my clutch is not pulled in. This is what I am doing. From almost a dead stop, I pop it up to 12oclock with idle up to 3500 and just try to let the bike idle move the bike forward at the slowest speed possible. So I get it up, clutch is out, I am standing up, and praying that the bike stays up at 12 and the idle will move the bike forward. I am trying not to use the throttle. If you are about to tell me I need the clutch for coasters then I am not doing them correctly. I want to pop up at 12 from a dead stop and wheely as slow as possible. I am hoping once I master that I can start practicing circles. Oh, don't forget i crashed last time out but I felt I was right there.

haha no dude.. coasters are a diff trick than what you are thinking... coasters are you get goin fast then whip the bike behind bp, with the clutch it... and let it coast.. i was gonna be pissed if you were doin them! cuz i just started doin them... they are so much fun, i hit about 600ft on sunday

but yeah, perfect, u're riding idle, just tap tap tap that brake.. u'll get it

GOT a question for you. Your pictured showing you standing up on the bike holding it with one hand. That is where I am trying to get to. AM I on the right track?

yeah it's just idle.. where you are no longer giving it gas.. my throttle hand is on my fairing stay.. and left hand hanging.. once u learn idle, where you no longer touch the gas, you can do pretty much whatever you want.. it's all brake

That is what I am talking about right there. That is all I needed to know. YOu got me going in the right direction. Now that I know once I accomplish this I will be able to pull off other stunts relatively easier than if I had not chose this route first. Pics coming and thanks again.
