As long as the cops don't call you out on the street for not being streetlegal/safe you can drive whatever you want.

I put almost 400 on my truck to get those 200 on the sled but it was worth it.

Zuki750
03-31-2008, 11:04 AM
Oh yeah, holy fucking snow banks. I wish I got a picture. They were within 2-3 feet of the telephone wires. It was like driving in a tunnel. You couldn't see shit on either side.

I stepped off the side of the trail to take a leak and went up to my armpits. Luckily I could still reach the sled to pull myself out and roll back onto the trail.

fuel filter
fuel injectors
lights
tires
high gear
gas tank

I had to take out a couple loans, then I had enough money for a better truck than i planned. This is my first Volvo, its pretty nice. Get this, the bed is ABOVE the cab, instead of behind it. I almost went to sleep in my drivers seat last night until i looked up.

I think the TTE lowers your fuel mileage. Under "view my driver" I get 10.75 mpg. On my route dashboard its showing 9.5, with a tailwind. I guess thats realistic tho.

And I got a ton of accessories to sell. If I would have made the move a weekago I could have saved a ton of $. I should have rented or leased. I have simulated buyers remorse.

A blonde and a brunette were taking the elevator from the lobby up to the 25th floor of an office building.

On the 21st floor, a very handsome looking young man wearing a dark business suit gets on the elevator. He has great hair but has an obvious dandruff problem, as it is sprinkled all over his dark suit.

The women exchange a look acknowledging just how good looking this man is.
The man gets off the elevator on the 24th floor.

The women watch him exit the elevator. As the elevator doors close, the brunette turns to the blonde and says, "God! Was he good looking! But someone ought to give him some Head & Shoulders."

The blonde thinks a second, and replies, "How do you give shoulders........?"

Plan for tonight if I don't feel like death warmed over when I get home:
Install oil reservoir on DRZ
measure extention length needed for bicycle spedometer
Create parts list for YZ (or find previously created one)
Get replacement screw for acerbis headlight.

At least it isn't snow.:thumbsup

I have $800 to get my DRZ put back together, insured and registered.
Get the 954 forks on the F4i rebuilt.
buy the parts I need for the YZ

$198.15 is for insurance
$270 is going to sales tax right off the top.
That leaves me with around $330.

DRZ doesn't need anything that I don't already have purchased at this point.
$80 to rebuild the F4i forks and probably around $20 for straps for the headlight I scored for free.

That's $230 left. Damn, I might even have enough left after the YZ to get my powdercoating setup.

I asked because I couldn't determine your intent with your statement.

The price of some beef or season veggies from a local market that gets supplies from local farmers is not increasing nearly as much as the cost of all the shit that gets shipped into our markets from california, florida, or texas. I will gladly pay 10 cents more at the local market versus $2.10 more at a chain store.

Say I sold you my superduty and you paid me $18,000 for it. But you didn't want to pay $1440 in taxes. I could "forget" to fill in the sale price on the back of the title when I sign it oer to you and you could fill it in saying you paid $6,000 for it that would save you $1040 in taxes. The problem is that it is illegal, but a lot of people do it. So some states audit the sale to make sure the seller knows what the vehicle sold for. People who get really good deals (way under KBB or NADA value) on vehicles get audited.

They are trying to catch people who are pulling the lower price scam to get out of paying slaes tax. Thing is if they both know what was put down, they can't do shit. They send a form for you to fill out and return via non certified mail. I had to fill one out for my POS10 because I sold it to a kid in Ohio for cheap. I just let them know on the form the many different ways that the truck was a shit bomb and wasn't worth blue book.

Turn up your idle and control the speed/lean angle with rear brake and ballance. Rear brake is key. If the bike is falling into the turn let off the brake, if the bike is to straight up and down and the handlebars are straighting out, give it more brake. To get it to turn in to the left slow it down with the brake and shift your weight to your left ass cheek.

Enough where the bike will track in a straight line if you don't touch the rear brake, and can be slowed down and turned in by dragging the rear brake. Do you have sprockets? I don't think it will be easy with a stock geared f4i. Not enough low end torque without stalling out.

drive bys tell you more about the neighborhood.

Is it a busy road?
Do crack heads live next door?
Even worse, are there mexicans near by?

Didn't I just say that?:ese:

Caliper and master rebuild kit for the YZ ordered. Not 100% sure if it needs it or not, but with a 490cc 2 stroke with a drum rear brake, you better make sure the front brakes work flawless.

Decent day out. I think I can get the exhaust pulled on the DRZ to install the oil tank. While I have the side plastics off I might as well pull the seat and charge the battery which is now dead from sitting all winter. Can slap the taillight back on too.

Should be good to go after that. I really should drain the gas out and use it in the lawnmower, but I think I will just throw some fuel injector clearner/ octane boost in there and top it off with 93 first thing.

Oh right, I have to hook up my custom Schwinn spedometer. Well I don't have to, but it would be nice to know how fast I am going if I see a cop at the regular speed trap spots.

up to 60k in the bank now. That, combined with the low interest rates and low housing prices should get me a nice mortgage

I'd keep 10K in a money market account for emergencies. Like the furnace just shit the bed and it is 30 degrees out. Once you have a home the potential to have to drop 5-10K with a quickness is much greater.

that was last summer, so its good.

i had a friend back in the day who originally lived in a huge house on the north shore of LI, like multi million dollar house. He had an xr100 there. Then one day his mom decided they were moving to an apartment in manhattan, he left the XR behind the shed of his old house for 2 years, before he told me about it.
We went in my dakota to check it out one night, and sure enough it was still back there. The new owners were rich old people, and they probably didnt even know it was there. Anyway, we took it, and brought it back to my house. I was gonna change the oil and gas but i got lazy and didnt. That little bike started up on the second kick, after sitting out in the rain and snow for 2 years.

My parents are gonna hook me up with a parental loan too so im probly gonna have over a hundred grand to put down, and still have like 20 grand in the bank.
