My stock tire is a battleaxe and i ate through it pretty fast. I am looking to replace it with something i can get decent miles from and still stunt it. By decent i mean more than the 3000 i got on this one. I mainly just do standups around town. None of that crazy shit, so i shouldnt be eating through tires, yet.

on the streets im currently running the new Dunlop Qualifiers (this year's HAVE TO TIRE) it's pretty sweet, and sticks good in the rain, but it breaks loose when i clutch up 2nd gear wheelies

on my lot bike i just run race take off's (hotlaps) since i can get them for $40 mounted :gpimp they stick good, and easy to do burnouts on

i get my tires from cycletires.com and they are great tires... i buy the blemished ones cuz they are cheap and last ... plus i dont feel bad about smoking it off...

Anyone ever run those Shinko Stealth's..... Think'n of try'n one up front, but don't think a stealth rear would hold up, but the price is good..

I never do burnouts, and dont really care about rain performance. I air down to about 20 psi and leave it there whatever kind of riding i am doing. The tire i have now breaks loose a little when clutching up in second so i guess i am used to that. I can get used to any compund just want something that will last more than 3000 miles. Dont really want race takeoffs becuase my local dealer sucks and they are just looking for a reason to not honor my warranty.

Pirelli Deablo :woot the fucker has lasted me over 7k , no burnouts well very little burnouts anyway. The dunlop 208s are sticky but do wear away alittle fast for me i run one in the front though and when i went to my Deablo on the back i love the grip and it last for fricken ever. But thats just my 2 cents.

I ran a Dunlop 208 last summer and I only got like 2500 miles out of it....no burnouts, and it's just about ready to be replaced again. I can probably squeeze another 500 out of it, but it's almost to the point of the belt showing right now.

Thinking of trying out the Pilot power next. My buddy just got one for his bike, but has only ridden on it a couple of times. He also ate through a 208 last year, but I think he got about 5k out of his. His riding style is pretty tame.

+1, dam things are super sticky when they heat up and do great on wet roads. i get'em off ebay. u can find takeoffs from practice laps that are like brandnew.
