i let my bike sit over winter, just got done riding and know i have a braking problem. its just in the front, i pull in the lever, i start braking like normal, then the lever hits the bar, and no more braking. i dont know if i need new pads(10,000 on the bike, and a lot of stoppies), or need to fill the fluid(it does look a little low), or i have another problem that im not aware of. feel free to chime in. its on a 04 1000rr.

it wouldnt be the pads if you didnt have a problem before you put the bike up, and i also doubt that having worn pads would cause loss of pressure which is what it sounds like. id try tightening all of your banjo bolts and then bleeding the system. check also see if one of your lines is kinked somewhere maybe.

sometimes when it sits for a while you just have to pump the brake for a while and it will come back
