anyone ever have any problems with there f4i having an unsteady idle, it was fine all day till like the last hour of riding, the idle just seemed to jump around, and not stay steady.

Mine is doing that. Sometimes coming to a stop light, I can't tell if it's running or not b/c it's idling at less than 500 rpms. It's usually fine and around 1200, but it's starting to piss me off.

get a 96 900rr idle adjuster and fit it to your throttle bodies.

keep the stock idle controler as a fine tuning adjustment, and the 900rr controler as the primary adjuster ...

naaa i dont think you guys understand what im gettin at, the bikes idle jumps up and down, like its possibly cuttin out or somthin. not like the idle is set too low. it ahs nothin to do with the idle adjuster.

i would say its a loose wire in your harness then, or a block in your throttle bodies. or bad fuel, take all the GAS out and full it up with new GAS.

could be anything but by the sounds of it it would be somthing along thoes lines

ill give the new gas idea a try but im thinkin now it has somthin to do with the wiring, cuz it only happens every now and then. but when it happens its annoying as hell.

anyone got any links to a wiring diagram for a f4i?
