ok i just ordered the freestyle ingenuity cage for my 01 gsxr 1000, and im trying to install it but the holes on one side where you connect the bar to the slider don't match up so i had to make the hole bigger so the bolt can fit through, then i though that was the only problem, but when i try to install the bushing for the swingarm, it doen't fit through the hole, the bushing was too big, so im wondering if i got the wrong kit, or am i don't something wrong? maybe the cage just sucks i don't know, right now im trying to sand down the hole for the swingarm so the bushing can fit in it but than i don't know if thats gonna be safe or not, sorry if this is confusing i need help

I cant think of any cage that mounts to your swingarm...Also havent seen any bushings for cages either... :shrugg
Yeah, some of the new FI cages mount through the swingarm

If i were you wouldn't modify anything on the bike to make the cage fit. It's either they sent you the wrong cage or parts or you doing something wrong. Go to their website and check out the installtion instructions. Or call them and they will help you out: they very cool.
I didn't have any problem with my new cage.
