dirt and stator covers

Ok so I got tar and some dirt behind my stator cover when it smashed into peices and Im just wondering if its going to fuck my bike up if I dont get it ALL out. Theres also some shit in the coils that I cant get out either. So is this a big problem or will I be all set if I get most of it or what???? Thanks

for the stator, take brake cleaner and spray the hell our of it, pull the oil plug so it can all leak out and what not. the use an air hose and spray everything, it worked for me. and yes it can really mess some thing us. dirty or small rocks in oil can kill a bike. if you have accese to a solvent part cleaner station dip your stator in it. and use the brush solvent hose.. good luck

if you smashed in your stator cover theres a chance your stator is junk too... if there are any cuts in the wire AT ALL do not put it back in. the wires need to complete a circut for it to work correctly and if its gets cut i could ground out... just saying check it before you put the bike all back together
