HOWEVER!! I was able to roll stoppies for my first time tonight. I can only rollem about 6-7 feet, but still. I was so stoked. Me and my boy went out and rode 135 miles tonight and I was the whole time practicing wheelies and stoppies. My boy was shittin b/c he's never seen anyone treat a bike like that, but anyway I'm stoked b/c I'm rollin stoppies now. WWWOOHHHHOOOOOO!!!

I'm only grabbin the brake at about 20-30 right now. My tires suck so any faster I just lock up. I also am scared shitless of going over. I have to jump on the bike to shift enough wieght to get it to come up too or it just locks up. Anyone else have this problem?

6-7 feet? I´m going 15 feet on my Mtnbikes......so you see you should get a new front tire if you don´t trust it (Pirelli Dragon or Michelin Pilot Sport have a lot of grip) and go faster, it´s easier!
But you can even go further at 30 mph just bring the rear up higher!

If you don´t know how bp feels on the front wheel and you´re scared of looping your bike, take your bicycle out of the garage and practice.

...anyways, congrats man!!! :patriot:

hell yea, you need to adjust your forks, maybe change the tire and or adjust tire pressure....what kind of bike? where you ride?

It's an F4i and I ride in TX so my streets are usually pretty warm. I can wheelie easy, but that front is a booger. I can stoppie like 50 feet on my mtn bike, but I'm just a little freaked with the sportbike b/c it's so much heavier. I'm not new to stoppies, just new to them on sportbikes b/c I've been riding a long time, but not stunting. I'm gonna try a pilot to see if that makes a big difference. I run D208s right now, but I don't like them.

wow 50 feet on the MTB? Not bad!
Was out today to find me a larger spot to go faster and I finally found one, but 25-30 feet are currently my maximum.....

If you are that good on the MTB you should not be scared on the big bike, just grab that lever and bring it up!
Try the Pilot Sport or Pilot Power.......my02

d208=GA'BAGE!!! pilots are good, metzler, ask teach that fool pulls stoppies on the ice while its rainin down hill!!

f4i front end=ga'bage!! but i rolled about 450 on mine with a 300ft approach BUT i dont suggest it!! put a 929 front end on there its better for stoppies and actually helps out with wheelies too because in the leverage it gives you

until then, get a new tire, run about 20-25 lbs in the front and on your forks there are 4 adjustments, 2 up top and 2 on the bottom for load and rebound....tighten all of them all the way tight then back off a 1/4 turn

that will def help with the pick, so after you make the adjustments feel out how the front end feels commin in hot and slowin down real fast, i would not reccomment makin the adj, then goin out and tryin the stoppies the way you used to, could be potentially bad news.....good luck, wear a helmet and let me know how it goes

Cool, thnx for the info guys. I'm gonna try this shit. I also got my first stoppie slappy last night. It kinda freaked me out. I was able to save it though. Thank god b/c I didn't have my gear on. I'll try the adjustments though and let everyone know how it worked out.

whats a good way to setup a f4i with a 929 front end? Im finally gonna try and do some really stoppies now that its warming up. Just got me a diablo corsa for the front and im rockin db bars now, should I just tighten the load and rebound all the way up too?
