View Full Version : another guy got killed on a bike last night.
Well here we go again..... Just heard on the news another guy got killed in our town last night on a bike. Guess he ended up hitting a truck. 19-20 years old. Getting to be where i don't even like to ride on the streets anymore. Would much rather be stunting in a parking lot than being a target for all the dumb fucks driving around here... Gonna be a bad summer for motorcyclists-i can just feel it. Jake

if its not the motorcyclist its a damn cager.... mike is right this summer is gonna suck... I cant tell you how many dumb bass kids in my town just bought bikes. pretty much all of em have no clue and are cocky as hell.. one kid just bought a bike didnt even hit 600 miles and laid it down the second day and he thinks its a joke.
Here is what i found out.... 2005 yamaha 600- the cops(from what i hear) figure he was going 60-70. Keep in mind this is in a residential area. He must have nailed it through the intersection and clipped the back side of a truck. He stopped there and the bike went for another 3/4 of a block. Driver of the truck was not at fault.. We see it around mason city all the time....young kid buys first bike(600 insert your brand here) then they get a little seat time and start driving like an ass. I cannot preach too much as i used to run my old 1100gsxr wide open on a blacktop for 3-4 miles. Lucky to be around today but i had the good fortune of not crashing back then. SO please just watch your asses out there when you ride. 1st one of the year..................Jake

RIP for the kid but being careless will kill you... it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see the states start requiring EVERYONE, young or older to take a MSF course before they can get a drivers license... the MSF courses teach some very good and basic survival skills for riding on the streets, even experienced riders will learn something taking the course... just my .02 though...

Had a friend of mine...an experienced rider....go screwing around on his busa ..doing I think it was 70 in a 35. Nailed the ass end of a Suburban, I think it was, that just turned onto the road. He should have known better but the need for speed got him the big dirt nap.
I have lost 3 personal friends...all experienced riders...2 to stupid cars...and then him. Not to mention 4 others that were known to me but were not actually friends. Thats why its hard for me to want to know a new rider until they got so good riding time in the saddle. But even that does not stop things.

I totally agree with that, but I took the basic class so I wouldnt have to have my permit for a month before i could get my license and the people who took the class were retartted on bikes, most of them had no clue but yet the whole class passed and got their licenses... As shitty as it is i know other countries maybe even states wont let riders rider over X amount of ccs until they have rode for a while, some wont even let you ride a sport bike til like atleasy a year of riding... it just sucks because everyone tough guy cool kid just has to get a new sportbike and has no riding experience and then shows off to everyone of his friends.... I know it sounds stupid how we bash people for ridin careless and stupid cause most of us are out stuntin on the highway all day long

Yeah it's crazy out here, and it's not going to stop either. These bikes aren't no joke. Things happen real quick.

man.. you think your town is bad... there are so many dumbass here w/ bikes it's pathetic. we have this spot where everyone goes and street races, well it's funny (stupidly funny) ppl come riding in on their nice shiny chromed out busa's and whatnot (you know the race bikes when you see em) and they acually take their helmets off and strap them to their tail while they race(i call it tail sliders when i see a helmet strapped to the tail) they say "i race better w/ out a helmet" YEAH RIGHT! i think they just want to be seen... so why not race, then take your helmet off after you come back from the race, and then ppl can see who you are. me and a friend go down there and stunt a lil, but we wear our lids 100% of the time we are riding.... funny thing is our other friends who are there watching tell us how the dumbass racers talk shit about how "we're gona get someone hurt" (doing slow wheelies..C'MON!) or how "we're crazy" i just don't understand it.. last year i saw 1 guy wreck and die (bled to death in the ambulance from road rash, and busted head) another ran from the cops when they caught them racing, and hit a pole (that guy was a paid racer....ppl acually paid him big money to race their shit for them LMMFAO! PATHETIC!) the bike he ran/hit a pole on wasn't even his

Where I live a really popular guy died on his bike. I dont know the full story but at one point he decided to race naked. theres no reason to stupid stuff... so you and a few people think its funny. but thanks to these people it is now harder to get a license here... the classes are required and a a pain to get into. although I think it is good for everyone to take these classes people are still going to be idiots.
