I was just thinking about how when we were kids safety and health wasn't the primary concern with products. Now it's all natural juices in kids juice boxes. What did we have? Ecto-cooler. The shit was water, highfructose corn syrup, and a shade of green dye that had to be a carinogen.

And looney baloony. Instead of blowing bubbles made out of harmless soap, you blow bubbles using a plasticy substance that has about the same fumes as model cement. My sister found some in the store recently and gave me a tube as a gag gift. There is no way to blow a bubble with the stuff without breathing in the fumes directly.

Nice. The strangest shit I ever saw on the road was on the way to South Padre with Borne. We left MI around 2pm and I had already been up for a few hours packing. I was up for about 30 hours straight and decided to catch some sleep while Borne continued to drive through Texas. He had a regular cab truck so I just put a pillow up against the window and took a nap. When I woke up I was still half out of it and first thing I see is a fucking rodeo clown in full make up and outfit driving An SUV. I thought I had lost my shit. The lady clown saw the whole thing as I woke up and the whole look of confused horror on my face. lol

Either on constantly or on with the lights.

On mine i didnt end up needing to use a thermostat. It sits in a 60 degree room. With the lights on and no airflow it gets up to 95 in the box. So i leave the fan on when the lights are on (which is always) and I control temperature by restricting the intake of cooler air.

I've considered buying a plow but there's no good place to push the snow. A four wheeler with a plow wouldn't touch the snow we've had this year. Especially since I'd be plowing up hill.

Last year I only had to snowblow 3 times. This just happens to be the 10th snowiest winter on record and we haven't made it through the heaviest snow month yet.

I make worse than the market rate for entry level at my job, but I am doing PD engineer 2 tasks. Raises haven't even kept up with inflation. I'm working on updating design guidelines that might be thrown in the trash in 83 days. It wasn't too bad last year when I had a program and with last years bonus my yearly salary came out to a reasonable rate. This year, not so much.

Sounds like it is a lot of work to figure out the best way to go and I imagine you MIGHT figure out a way to save $5 a month in the winter and $0.50 a month in the summer.

theres a college on the floor below me with a cafeteria. i think maybe 5% of the students there are white. Its a technical school thats heavily subsidized by the govt. Majority of the kids are intelligent black kids. Which of course means most of the girls are very overweight.

Probably a foot or so. The other side doesn't look as impressive but it is also shielded more by the trees. I had to cut down the banks at the end of the driveway because they blocked the view in my truck. There's no chance of seeing anything in the car.
