if i were you I would spend $100$ extra and get a sony dv. sony has a good night shot mode.

i went to circuit city today and was looking around, i saw a jvc model that had a 20gig hdd on it that looked nice. i was looking at sony because of the night shot, but i don't want discs or tapes, i want it all on hdd.

The Sony Nighshot Mode is great, JVC is good too but I dunno bout the HDD cams....but never get a Panasonic Mini DV, mine sucks, too much problems and expensive repair bills...........

not worried about the pics, i was gonna get a seperate camera for that. i'll look into the sony dv's though. btw i found that samsung i posted for $357 instead of 500.

I only have dv camcorder and I snap pics from the video frames. and its purty good. I dont know about the hdd.

lol megapixels. most of the hdd's i've seen are .068MP and some of the dv's with tapes are up to 3MP

okey it says image sensor 340,000 pixels. lcd screen 112,000 pixels. viewfinder 113,000 pixels. this is the old one, Iam about to get a new one in a week or two.
