Around here, most neighborhoods have deed restrictions. No visible, parked objects. If you have a back yard big enough for your boat, trailer, RV/camper, then you can have it at your house. Otherwise you have to have it in storage. Actually, you can have any of the above in your yard as long as it doesn't protrude the face of your house. I have a pop-up camper & a trailer on the side of my house. They both are behind the face of the house so nothing can be said.
