or at least have male mechanics as your head mechanics.. also men may be less likely to fuck with your girls knowing there are guys out back.. girls can still do the work, but get a good mechanic on board someone with a good reputation in the industry that will help to kick off your business.. good mechanics are like good hair dressers no matter where they go their clients will follow

haha .. thanks.. as for papper work being fucked up.. as long as you have it all you can make heads or tails of it trust me ( and what you dont have you can usually make up or bullshit to fill in the gaps) , it might take some time to get everything running smooth but it can happen.. trust me i have done it!

+1 I was doing custom paint and bodywork and a good friend of mine was building custom trucks and hotrods and I always did his paint work so we went in together. BAD IDEA He started hooking up his buddies and working when he wanted which was not very often and I was getting screwed..I went from making good money to not making crap and working 15 hour days 6-7 days a week to cover his ass..Needless to say I got out after I lost $15,000 and I am going to school now..

Now for girls working on bikes yeah alot of guys might not want them working on their bikes but if they do good work then the word will spread. I used to have a blind guy build all the transmissions for the rides we built because he was the best in the area and it seemed crazy at first to let this crazy blind dude with a mullet build a transmission but his work was top notch and nobody ever had a probably with his work and the transmissions kicked ass..If you have guys working with hot girls though in the shop then no work will get done I can gaurantee that...

I think it would do good if you were selling parts, coats, helmets, dvds, exhausts. Things like those, and do basic maintaince while you wait. Maintaince being oil, tires, fork seals, chains, sprockets, exhaust, and undertail kits. I think then as long as they have training you could do it no problem. Have a window so that you can watch them work on a bikes. Make it a cool place to hang out. Big screen, and couch for the while you wait service, and have stunt DVD's playing. If I lived in the area I would get my parts from there.




I only let 1 person work on my bike. I now have to travel 200 miles to get him to do it also. He spend 3 years going to school. He has raced bikes, and changes tires for a pro team in Minnesota. The reason that I trust him is his reputation(sp?) is great. Once you get the great reputation your set.

Well, basically yes. Not to be mean or anything but your goin g to have the "everything in between" the weak girly girl to the butch.

Majority of that spectrum will not be toward the buitch side. JUst b/c a person loves motorcycles doesn't mean they are fit for the job. Its like when I see women trying to be police officers in a male correctional maximum security prison. I mean, SORRY you can't stop him. If he decided to kick the shit out of you she stands NO chance. So she shoudl NOT be there. The only reason he wouldn't beat or kill her is b/c HE doesn't want to or feel like it. A man , by nature are stonger, would give him alot more hell. even the weakest guy is stronger than the tought chicks ( in most cases, not including gay guys or something)...

So with that said, some things on a bike need some elbow grease and some strength. Some parts are not going to slip right in and out and will require some serious muscle or hammering without damaging the part. So yea, I am sure the " normal chick" could do it but how long would that take. No one is willing to wait 3hrs for a tire replacemtn or to change the sprockets just to have a chick do it. So basically, the time would be extended by alot. Carrying tools, tires, rims, loading bikes, etc will make the "normal chick" butch b/c he muscles will start gorwing. So then that goes back to my theory about butch chicks being more apt... Hell, they have more testosterone than a damn man...Have you seen some of those women?

Had to take some of the posts off, it was getting like a novel.
