just add to the top of the site glass... and you should be good

on a gixxer should i fill it to top of glass on kickstand or straight up

i fill it to top of sight glass, off kickstand with bike straight up, this comes to about 4 quarts on an f4i i belive

ahh thanx man, so a quart means a quarter gallon, cause 1 gallon = 3,78 liter I think.......now it makes sense!

It´s cool, weather is fine but i work too much so I don´t find enough time to prepare my bike and practice.

1 quart = 946 ML

and for the gixxer, i put it on the sidestand and fill it when you can just barely see the oil in the window. Worked great so far with all my rev-limiter stuff. I also have a stuntex oil pickup.

hondas there is no worry about locking up, but i still ran 1/2-1 quart over in my 929 just in case.

when you fill it up to top of side glas, do you do it when you motor is warm or cold?.....yes it makes a difference...

generally the motor oil i put in is room temperature. that's what i go by.

Just put 4 full quarts in...my 954 was running like new until i exploded my stator and everything inside. Four quarts came out all looking good tho.
