you wont see the affects right away....it takes a while for the car oil to takea toll on your bike...eventually your clutch will be smoked becasue the car oil additives will absorb into your clutch plates and your clutch will slip....also the car oil doesnt have the viscosity and shit like that to get into the tight meshing of the tranny gears and all that good stuff...so evanutally it will do something...

when was the first "motorcycle oil" marketed... i mean produced? I dont know, but I can bet you wet clutches have been around way longer.
If you do alot of rev limiter coasters it will last for 20+ thousand miles.

oh come one now, that sounds like something bikerboy would say.
the gears are getting oil all over them all the time. Maybe you're thinking of the bearings? even tho theyre the same as a car engine

don´t forget that car oil isn´t made for high revs, the oil coat (dunno the right word) will rip off and you will have no lubrication at all.

yuo gar, talk to scott. me and his use car oil, and we figured out whicvh car oil filter is used on our f4i's, ( 95 mits eclipse turbo) we just change it more often, but what does that matter, when you have filters in stock, and 250 gallons of oil, never had any problems, been doing that for at least a year!
