I put some generic frame sliders on my f4i yesterday. They dont protect anything, they dont even touch the ground. They would need to be about a foot longer to actually do anything.
I really just need one to stand on, which it works for, so im not complaining.

I just see f4i frame sliders for sale here and there and now I know to call shenannigans on them.

the FI frame sliders i had back in the day were only like 6-8 inches long and they worked fine....

8 inchers would work. the ones i got are just under 6, when i lie it down on the engine case, the slider is still well over an inch off the ground. Think how much stress an 8 inch lever puts on your motor mounts with 400 pounds pushing it
