Was it hard for anyone else to learn 12's on the stock F3 pegs? I have a cheater peg on my F3 and i can catch idle with my left foot on that, but it just feels like the stock passanger peg is too close to the front peg. When i try to 12 on the stock pegs i feel like i'm hanging so far off the bike, and i don't lock out my left leg. Any advise? Do you guys hang way back or just bring the tank real close to your body? I would keep using the cheater peg but i don't balance the bike well like that, and i feel like a cheater...

do it staggered or with a foot on the seat, don't try to learn with both feet on the front pegs unless your doing sitdown 12's.

Yeah, i'm trying them staggared with left foot on passanger peg, but it feels like i have both feet on the front pegs cause their so close. I'm gonna try left foot on the seat, what about a foot in the 12 bar?

bar tricks are pointless on these bikes....they tend to die when you set them on the bar...mine dies everytime..unless i give it gas and keep it running

Really mine runs like a champ on the bar, in fact i don't really know what i'm doing yet so when i scrape i forget to pull in the clutch, then i run behind the bike, then the bike tips, then i make it stall, then it comes down, sometimes i fall, the bike falls, then it floods, then fuck... I don't want to park it or really even scrape, i just want to be able to rock idle and it feels real awkward on the stock pegs. I'm gonna try a foot on the seat like f3joel said, is it hard balancing the bike lik that?

dont try to learn 12s on the seat..not a good idea..nobody drags bar like that anyways
to learn put your foot in the bar..and clutch it up and try to get it on the bar as fast as you can..and just keep on doing that until your comfortable hitting the bar..and try to be as smooth as possible

Cool, I'll gie it a try. Btw did you bypass the air sylinoid valve on your F3? I heard that alot of people do it, do you know what hoses to connect, cause i don't think my vavle is working anyways and it would explain something thats messin up on my bike..

bypass it. it's a pinkish colored wire in the front harness. ground it out and the bike will run smoother. we did it to all our f3's (back a few years ago).
and if you have problems with an f3 rear peg being too far forward you will hate the new bikes, they are way more cramped.
