I know that i'm not at it, but it helps to see where i'm at with a video. It felt alot higher then I'm really at. Hopefully I will progress quicker, video taping my wheelies.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

I would learn with a staggered stance. Cover the brake, clutch it up to BP more quickly, so that you aren't so high in the revs. :teacher:

What tongwoo said. i learned b/p not to long ago. Staggerd stance. and clutch it up when your almost stopped. and on the clutch up get it up high right away. And always cover the brake.

That was the hardest part for me is to learn brake control i used to freak out when i would get past balance point. just takes time and practice using the brake. hope that helps. youll get it just keep practicing.

You need to raise your idle also. Get a little better at rippin it up and covering the brake then turn the idle up. In my opinion you will never learn good BP wheelies w/o turning the idle. You need to cover your brake oh and take the plastics off that you want to keep. Keep at it :jaman

the first thing you want to do to your bike before you do anything else is put a stuntex oil pickup tube in it suzukis dont last long without em and its cheaper than a new motor

I played around with doing it staggard. My forearms are killing me from leaning over and trying to clutch it from a standing position. My wheelies got worse. I guess it take alot of practice to get comfortable again.

Your video looks exactly like me-i tell myself, cover the brake, cover the brake, cover the brake, and as soon as my wheelie comes up thats the last thing on my mind-do u ride the brake, tap it, keep the throttle open as u apply brake or what?i need help too-i have been just popping it up and making myself hit the brake immediately to bring it down just to get in the habit, don't feel like it helps though

When I have my left foot on the front peg I don't think of covering te brake. It seems easier to cover the brake staggard stance to me. I'm trying to go as slow as possible when I bring it up staggard, just incase I flip it or need to bail, it won't hurt as bad. I might bring out the camera next week if i get any better this week trying staggard stance.
