The full lowdown on freestyle ingenuity is right here,
and the true shittyness of their products shall be revealed.

in my personal opinion they are a bunch of money grubbing bastards who are blood hungry for a dollar bill and nothing else.

even the most minute crash will roll onto the clipons.

the bolt that holds the side struts on gets grinded off when you crash and then you cant get the fucker off.

and all the pros are sponsored by fi, great! the only reason i can see why the pros are using fi is because tim is either paying them to or he is giving it to them at little or no cost.

Very bold statement there. I have used just about every cage out there and I would have to say they all have their downfalls. Some let the bike roll over to the tank and yes some let them roll over to your clip ons. Hell some crack just by dropping it at a dead stop while others bend so you can't get your bolts out later. What I am trying to say is, no matter what brand you go with it is still doing it's main job which is protecting the engine!

Not a person attack here, but if you think you can design a better cage go for it! I'll give yours a try too! :woot

Are you still stunting a GSXR? If so that is the prob. Dont get me wrong I love GSXR have one for the road , but for the lot, no sir. no matter what cage you have with a GSXR shit will break. 01-03 models dont handle wrecks very well, and the frames... well you probably have already had to weld that bitch. :twocents:

my FI cage is a bit tweaked...but i think its stood up to the test pretty well...been thru 2 pretty bad loopings and a highside at 80...thing still came off and is ready to go back on, just need a new right side slider section cuz the bolt that holds the lower part on ripped out of there.

Yep yer right, all the pro's have um and there called pro's for a reason little to no gound pound.Yeah if yer new and the bike is takin some nasty spill's then you might have a point but when yer bike rarely see the ground or for minor lay down's they do there job over and over :twocents:

after seeing the hit that a sick innovations cage took down in Florida, I'm sold, all those that where at the lot that night know what I'm talking about, it shook the ground, and nothing was wrong with the bike or the cage.

After I saw Woo´s vid of spilling his F4i I decided to go with sickinnovations, to hear a similar story from a different person just makes me smile and I´m glad I got me that cage.

I keep telling you guys that the sick innovations cages are super strong. I'm not pro. i drop my bike learning new shit all the time. I never had a broken cage or a broken bike.

Which one, James or AC's lol ... those cages definitely take a beating - way more than a cage even should, and they still hold up

Like someone said earlier, every cage out there sucks. But they do all do what they are meant to do which is protect the case covers. Some cages work better on certain bikes.
Sick Innovations cages I dont like at all, yeah they take beating but they are heavy as shit, one side my weigh 10lbs while the other weighs 20lbs...

im happy with my FI cage on my 636...even thou i have broke a few stator cover with it after my wreck this weekend only thing that happened was a bent motor mount bolt, and any1 that seen my fall would think that lots more woulda broke...it kept the bike from rollin and kept rash to a surprising minimum...i dont thinki can say much bad about it for the time being

bikes are performance machines, so i want it as light and nimble as possible, same as a racebike

have you ever met tim before? i have several times and i didnt get the impression he was just "in it for the money". Tim loves this shit just like the rest of us and he started making cages for himself and friends before he started selling to the public. Nothing personal with you, just thought i would share my input.

I run sick innovations on my RR and it is solid as a rock. i drop my shit all the time and have no damage to the frame or engine and the cage is not even bent! you dont kill your shins w/ SI like you do with a powers stuntworx either.

MRBODYDROP......that is one funny avatar. i see the "cowboy" one all the time down here. gotta love texas and its hillbillies.

I don't run a cage anymore they seemed to break more things than they are worth. I have expressed my anger at some companies on here but everyone has there own story's. So best of luck with finding a crash cage that works for YOU! :jaman

Yeah since I am originally from Dallas and now primarily in Missouri, I found the humor in it too!

I think I will be going with sick innovations cages next time. I like the fact that the FI cage doesn't bust my shins, but I really don't think it's going to help as much when I start practicing circles. My friends from Team Mid-Moto really turned towards the SI way :woot

I am so glad to know that one of my best sponsors, www.sickinnovations.com is getting tested and critiqued as much as someone is going to weigh the fuckin cage, that right there is awsome. I've helped Ian put some orders together and yes both in a box weigh 12 and some change. Gald to know people are paying that much attention. From myself and my sponsor, THANK YOU!!!

Just wondering why prettyboystuntz from Dirt Jerzey is bashing on the SI cage if you guys used to be sponsored by him. Just sounds rude, thats why i brought it up, and the first time was a legitimate questions cause I thought you guys were but no one had the cages on, just a ?

i dont think pretty boy was bashing anyones product, i think you were reading into more than anything else. as far as the sponsorship went everyones bike was set up before the sponsorship and dishn out money for a cage when u already have one on your bike is pretty pointless. all cages have there good points and bad points whats right 4 u may not b whats the best choice for the next guy. this is Gil btw

Naw, I understand bro. Not trying to bash Dirty Jerz or start anything of that sort, was just wondering. This time I just thought it was funny dude was weighing a cage, Cause we all know it isnt that much of a difference. Thats all I waas saying. You guys are my boys and dont get it twisted, not bashing or picking arguements with anyone, just thought it was funny.
