01 gixxer 6? decent bike?

i dont know about the 6 but my 750 is pretty good except its a little heavy and wide compared to an f4i or 636, weak subframes, and frames, but i havnt broke ne think yet so its not as bad as people say, but i havent tried to learn circles yet so the bike hasnt been dropped hard at all.

I had an 03 and I have no complaints other then the bike feeling wide/heavy compared to f4i or 636. My frame cracked under the tank on both sides and up by the neck but i had it fixed and haven't had any problems since. I retired it from stunting officially today, I bought a 636

+1 Heavy and big but never had any problems with the frame or engine. 24,000 with original clutch. Switched to f4i this winter.

i've had nothing but problems with my gixxer, but i guess thats what really determines an opinion or brand of choice, whether or not you have problems with it. my frame cracked as well, and ALOT of gixxers frames crack if you rattrap often, but for 2 grand it sounds like it would make a good starter bike and then when you are done with that move up to a 636 or f4i and it will be straight murder. if the price is right and its a solid bike then stunt the hell outta that bitch :twocents:
