i've wanted to be a nurse for a while, but that's too much school right now and i'm ready to do something 'real' now. so i think once i get my truck paid off i'm just going to go to hair school....doesn't make the best money, but i can do side jobs to tons of people so it should even out.

All during high school I wanted to do costmetology but the lady that did my hair told me I shouldn't. Which she works ALL the time. More than most people. Sometimes I regret it b/c I loved doing hair. But I'm still really happy with my career decision just ready to start a "real" job also

My house turned into a murder scenelast night. I let both the girls out to go pee and when Nikki (brindle) back in, she was severely bleeding. She must have cut herself on some ice outside and severed an artery. I had blood everywhere! So, I ran upstairs and grabbed my first aid kit and wraped her leg and tried to slow the bleeding the best I could and rushed her to the vet. She was there and in surgury for over an hour. The vet actually came out to talk with me and thanked me for doing such a good job wrapping her. He said if I didn't do exactly the right thing for her (which I did), she wouldn't have made the ride. She severed the main artery in her foot. They had to close off the artery, but he siad that she should be fine in a few weeks.... So, say a prayer for her. She looks sad today with her foot all wrapped.....

awww im sure she will do just fine...we use to get cases like that all the time bc of the ice during the winter...Thank god you thought quick enough to do that...most people dont...So people would just leave it and fly to the vets not thinkin, we had a few people who did that and there dogs did not make it.. just keep that foot dry too, you dont want her to get fungus on her paw or nothing either... are they having you change the bandages? If it gets wet you should....

Looked like a scene outta Carrie.....
