the threads on one of my gas cap hole is striped out on my gas tank can i jus tap that out and rethread it????????? or is there any other way i can rig this up so it doesnt leak

put some jb weld in there, thats how i fixed a leak on my tank.

I agree JB weld it. Id do it when you arn't going to ride it for a day or two put some in the hole and then re-tap it after it gets hard or yo might be able to cheat and spray so WD-40 on the bolt and shove it in with some jb weld on it.

I had to tap 2 of mine. No leaks
