ok, i bought a -1 front and +5 rear sprocket for my 02 gsxr 600, i have been riding for about 5 years now, and doin wheelies and stuff for a while too, but i wanna step up my skills and learn slow stuff, but my bike is also my daily rider, does anyone know roughly what my top speed will be with this gearing, and also what the rpms are gonna be when im doin around 80? thanks

probably around 140 maybe 150 mph and ur rpms will prolly be around 8 or 9 grand at 80 mph that speed but you got a 600 so you should be ok:thumbsup

i got a 750 with +10 in the back, on the highway i can keep up with traffic and the bike is revving pretty good, but your concern shouldnt be top speed it should be how fun it is to cruise on the back wheel in third or fourth with no problem going down the highway! it aint no racebike anymore.

i don't know about u ,,but i change the sprocket of my bike 5 weeks ago,,i went 10 up on my gixxer 600 - 06,,man,,i felt like my bike was bloowing up at the high way,,actually i am doing slow wheelies with my stock sprocket ,,u can do it too,,when u start to do circles u can change.
