i got a 94 f2, i was told that i have to jump two wires if i am running with no guages for the bike to run right, does anyone have any idea which wires i have to jump?

if you jump the red wire with the yellow wire, your bike will magically turn into an F4i and run flawlessly.
other wise, the only other solution is to buy an F4i.

i tried callin rommel , when he gets back to me ill let ya know what he says . he is one of the few i know that used to run them and still sets them up

thanks bro, alex thinks he has the info somewhere but i was hoping someone here would know off the top of their head.
are you just running "no gauges" or did you unplug the whole harness, headlight harness, speedo harness etc.....?
cuz if you just unlugged the guages - shouldnt need to jump any wires.

one thing for sure....it ain't me....
if you still have the harness connected for the headlight and gauges to the main harness and simply unplugged the headlight and guages from their respective harness - you don't need to jump wires.
if you unplugged the whole front harness....you may need to jump.....do you still have the headlight/guage harness? if so...plug it in and tell me what happens.

i think you have to ground out the pink wire if i remember correctly but i could be wrong

i recommend hard wiring your radiator fan since you won't have a temp gauge anymore. i did it to mine anyway.
i never had to ground any wire without gauges on my f3, same with my friends f2 no gauges. just unplug them. now if it was cut before the plug then you may have too.

thanks for everyones help, i am still trying to figure out the vaccuum routing, i got the bike with no vaccuum hoses and the books suck at telling you where the shit goes. its all trial and error, once i get that done i can run it and see if i gotta jump any wires

That's exactly it! Ground the pink wire. I'll see if i can dig up the diagram i used to have on my old comp.
