what exaclty do I need to do to make this swap succesfull.

Do I use the bearings from the 1000RR or do I use everything from the f4i forks and just swap them on the 100RR forks?

DO I have to knock out the racers in the frame were the bearings sti on the 1000rr and install them on the f4i frame? that is what somone told me.??

just use everything from the new set up, all the bearings i think are the same but better to use the newer shit anyway. and yes u have to grind off the stops on the 1000rr lower tripple or u will have no turning radius at all. just grind them off and everything else bolts right on. if youre running full fairings your gonna have to do some adjusting so ur clip ons dont hit, i wasnt able to keep the ram air covers with mine, but if u flip your clip ons or run aftermarkets you prob can.

first off what year f4i i think 02 and older had a different bearings so if dirrerevt bearings diff race when you take it apart just compare them if the bearing from the f4i look the same as the 06 1000 then your bike has been swaped to the new bearings on my bike it was a 05 f4i with 05 1000rr so they were the same
2nd you do not have to cut the steering stops of or at leasted i did not

if you run any clipon meaning 952 929 1000rr then you need to remove the ram airs on my bike i have 06 636 clipons on top fliped and the clear the upper and feel like real low db bars heres a pic
